Is the Market Changing?

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Palos Verdes

I don't know about you, but I can feel it in my bones when the market starts to change.  Right now, there are a couple of things that have happened in our area that lead me to believe that home prices in Palos Verdes, CA will, at the very least, remain level this year.

I take shifts of floortime for our office.  For the last year it has been dead...no calls for anything.  I was about to remove myself from the floortime roster it was so bad.  Over the last two weeks or so I have gotten five really good calls about buying property in Palos Verdes and I'm beginning to think that maybe, just maybe, some buyers are getting off the fence.

Also, our inventory of homes for sale has shrunk to the point that I am begging agents in our company to share their upcoming listings and pocket listings with me, something I haven't had to do for a couple of years now.

I will appreciate your thoughts about the real estate sales in your areas.  Wouldn't it be great if the market really is picking up?

Katie, you live in a beautiful area. I wish you luck in this year's spring market. It started late this year here in Scarsdale, NY as well.
