My memories as a young boy…I always wanted to be the first one up in the morning, hoping I could find the hidden treasures before my mom would catch on, but was never the first one up. I remember the both the excitement when finding that first egg, the excitement of finding an egg before my brother did, the angst when he found one thinking he was going to end up with more than me. We had different colored plastic eggs for the hunt, and I always wondered what would be inside. The night before the hunt, mom would spread out newspaper all over the table, ready to dip eggs and create cool designs. I remember being amazed at watching the transformation as well as the strong smell of vinegar.
I hope you’ll share your story and memories…:)
