The Closing Gift, Kodak / ActiveRain Challenge

The Closing Gift, is as important part the transaction as making sure you have protected your clients by having all of the inspection done to make sure they are buying a solid home.

When I first started selling Real Estate in 1994. Tracey and I would spend hours making home made miniature Christmas trees. This always put a smile on the clients face. At least every Christmas, I know they thought of us.  It was not long before we both were so busy we longer had time to make our trees. We just had to find other things  for our client. Here is a short list of things we have done.

• Fruit Bakets/ Georgia Peaches / Sweet Naval Oranges
• Fresh Baked Cookies
• Bottle of Fine Wine
• Gift Certificate to a nice Restaurant
• Once we give away a Cruise.
• Weekend Get aways

These are just a few closing gifts we have giving over the years, the only problem, is that once they are gone so is your good thought. You know what they say. Out of sight, out of mind.

So we have started giving things that we think they may like to put in the home year round. Things that is fitted to them. Like a cool vase, door mat,  or a nice bowl, you know something that will keep them thinking about us when they think about Real Estate. However this is time consuming and is not always easy.

After reading the post on the Kodak Challenge, I think I just might have found the perfect gift for everyone. That's right, the Kodak PULSE Digital Frame! What are great idea. A gift that keeps giving year after year.
