When searching for a home in the Denver suburbs, school boundaries are sometimes a very important qualifier for the search location. Colorado is an open enrollment school state, but the opportunity to enroll children at any public school only exists if there is room. Some schools are at or near capacity, and living within the school's geographic boundaries can sometimes be the only or best way to be certain of enrollment. Additionally, if you do not live within the school boundaries, school bus will not be a transportation option for you.
Coyote Creek Elementary is a K - 6 school in Highlands Ranch and part of the Douglas County School District. Coyote Creek is not on the Year-Round Track System that many Douglas County Elementary Schools have been known for in the past. It is on the "Modified" school calendar and will be for the 2011 - 2012 year as well.
Coyote Creek Elementary is located in Westridge Village off of Westridge Village Parkway. The boundaries include homes in the south side of the Westridge Village neighborhoods all the way west to Santa Fe Drive. Kids that have Coyote Creek Elementary as their home school elementary school feed to RanchView Middle School and ThunderRidge High School.
