Very simple, but very bold. Today I received my 85th referral from Active Rain. No, Active Rain didn't call me and say here's a referral, but I did get someone directly from Active Rain. Today, I had a phone call from someone in Elgin, Illinois. They said,
"Larry, My wife and I are putting an offer in on a house. My wife and I have been following your blog (on Active Rain) for quite sometime. You're local and we think a lot a like. Can you finance my house?"
I thought about it for about 8 one-thousand's of a second and said, "U bet." They asked me to do a pre-approval letter for them and I did. Got it sent to them and they're negotiating right now. I was really hoping that I'd have this big party with candles and brag about #100. But at the speed that it's starting to come together this spring, I think I' just be postponing it just a little bit!
Believe you me....these aren't inquiries.....
These are well-qualified borrowers looking to do business with your's truly!
Sure points are nice, but like I said at the beginning of this year. More focus on educating the consumer, more consistency, but this means less blogging (and that Alan May will be passing me up here in about a month or two, if not less), but for me....ultimately, it means a lot more cash in the pocket.
I like milestones! This is a great one for me! Thanks Active Rain! By the way....I just had to edit it because I just was contacted through Linked in for another social media referral. Gotta love it!
