The Eagle Returns to the Lower Hudson Valley

Early in January I wrote a blog post The Eagle Returns to the Lower Hudson Valley, a short piece about the bald eagles that return to Croton on Hudson, (and a small diameter surrounding the area), every year. It surely is a gift and delight to see these magnificant eagle sightings. If you don"t know, every January bald eagles migrate south to New York's rivers in search of food, open water and nesting.

I just became aware, and this is so awesome, (I will be sure to remind you next year), the Village of Croton on Hudson has a EagleCam.

Even you people in other parts of the world can come on by and see for yourself!

Suzanne - would love to see one up in Croton one day. I have seen them over by the Bear Mountain Bridge but never by you. They surely are something to see.
