This too Shall Pass

Isn’t it just like Mother Nature to spoil the best laid plans of mice and men? Spring Snow Bradford Pear Blooms
You make your plans never paying attention to the weather prognosticators.  Why? Could it be because they are only right about 40% of the time?  Or could it be because you are hoping that this time they are wrong?  Either way you may lose.

Today happened to be one of those days, everything was going just the opposite of the weather forecast.  I was thinking that all is well in whoville.  When much to my surprise, it turns out the prognosticators turned out to be right.  It is that nasty “S” word, at the end of March.

Oh well, This To Shall Pass!!!  It is just another early Spring Day in O’Fallon MO.

Oh Yuck!!!! That looks absolutely dreadful. I have seen many trees in my area knocked back by early spring snows and cold snaps. This is one of the main reasons I hate to see early warm-ups. Plants really get hammered this time of year...

Hi Don, It looks like white Cherry Blossoms, or were they pink first before mother nature dumped on you again. LOL, :-) It doesn't seem that you would have snow again. Oh well, anything can and will happen these days. "Who'd a thunk it", lol

Don, It will pass -- unless you live in Wyoming.  I've seen the same thing in June for the last several years and expect it again this year.  You have to admit, it is beautiful though.

Don, we got snow here in KC too! - Not quite as much as you did, but still enough to worry about the blossoming trees.

Michael,

You my friend are so right, I would rather see a slow and steady temp rise than to have a weeks worth of nice weather then back to the cold stuff again.

Good morning Maria,

We got too much, I think they are saying between 5 & 7 inches depending on where you were in the area.

Wow!  When I first looked I thought the tree might be full of spring blooms...but I see now it's snow.  Yikes.  We're supposed to get 2 inches of it here today.  Hope "THEY" are wrong.

Ann,

I honestly hope that this is the last of it.  But I won't believe it until I am calling for cooler weather in the heat of summertime.
