Joni, That's a beautiful shot :) Nice pink flowers and looks like a beautiful spring day!
Good morning Joni,
What a great photo! I love the pink flowers and the big barrel by the front..really looks like it could be on a movie set..waiting to see someone on a horse ride up!
What an appealing shot Joni! The old and the new. The colours in the cabin and tree compliment each other.
That is the coolest picture. I am with Richard. What is the story of the cabin? That would be a great post.
Joni ~ Is that not beautiful!!!!! You can picture the pride and joy which must have gone into building that cabin . . .
Joni, Such a beautiful contrast of the rustic cabin and the delicate blossoms.
Joni ~ Love the beautiful cabin & pink blossom tree ~ Oh and I love your groovvy outfit ~ You look cool in those bell bottom pants!!
Hi Joni... the balance of old cabin and new growth works really well in this photo! Great shot!
Joni--There is a story here, but I am not sure what it is---The tree does not look old enough to have been planted when the cabin was in use, but maybe the historical society planted it when they took over. Really pretty combination for your picture!!
Joni,
Very nice contrast between the old cabin and the new blooms of spring. :)
Steve

This is one of the best pictures I have seen lately. It speaks volumes in mood and feeling. I love the contrast of the cabin and the new blooms. It is a great composition. Thanks for sharing it with us. A
Joni - That looks like a dogwood???....2 of my favorite things.....dogwoods and old cabins!!! Very nice pic.
Joni, love this picture! Makes me think of when I was a kid growing up in Rough and Ready, CA. Our neighbor had a smaller version of this and we used it as a playhouse!
I love pictures (and places) like this. These old building just speak to us, with tales of long ago.
