When is it time to buy a home?

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty

A question I often get in real estate is when is it the best time to buy a home. "Should I buy now, or wait for the spring when the market is better? Should I buy in the summer when people have more time? When do you think interest rates will go up"? All of these questions certainly are excellent ones, and ones that as real estate professionals, we owe it to our clients to answer. And the answer I always give is: right now! Right now is one of the best times in history to buy a home. We have historic lows in interest rates, as well as a huge amounts of inventory on the market. With the arrival of spring, the snow has stopped (dare I say that) and the weather "should" be improving. Right about now is a great time to buy. If your clients are ready, and their finances are sound, then right now is the answer for which you seek. So what are you waiting for?

Happy hunting!

Always a good subject! An I also give the same answer. Buy now because it is the best time in 8 years to own property. Good buys are getting harder and harder to find.

Prices are down, interest rates are low. Now is the BEST time to buy!

Christopher,

Warren Buffet says don't wait too long to make a well priced purchase.
