Yesterday afternoon I made a video out of the FHA 203(k) Streamline PowerPoint presentation my partner and I have and I posted it to YouTube. It's very informative and provides some great before and after pictures of projects the contractor we work with has done. This is great information for both Realtors and prospective buyers. I also wanted to put out a reminder that FHA's annual insurance (the portion that is paid monthly) is increasing for case numbers pulled on or after April 18th from .90% to 1.15%. This means that a $150,000 loan amount would see an increase in the monthly payment of the annual premium from $112.50 to $143.75. This could certainly make a difference in the DTI and whether a buyer will qualify for a particular home or not.
