February 2011 Sale Statistics for East Shore Lake Tahoe (NV side)

We've created a chart to compare February 2011 sale statistics for East Shore Lake Tahoe (NV side) to the previous two months.  As you can see the percentage of the median sold price changes dramatically from one month to the next.  Do not be too alarm by this.  You have to understand that on the on the NV side of Lake Tahoe the prices are much higher.  The average price for a home on the market is $3,760,486 with the highest price at $100,000,000 and the lowest price at $299,000.  The majority of the homes on the market are priced well above $1M.  With these kind of prices, the median sold prices will change dramatically from one month to the next.

Love these price points!!!! Hopefully that means that you two are selling high end homes.  Reminds me of Million Dollar Listing & Selling New York.  Love those two shows :)  If you watch those shows, is it like that there?

Eileen, thank you for your comment.  Yes, it's great to get this kind of average sold prices.  The high end market is picking up here in Lake Tahoe.

Christina, I don't think we're as dramatic as the shows.  Of course that is why they're on TV  :-) 

Renee, I think our market is leveling off and picking up.  The numbers for East Shore (NV side) and South Shore (CA side) for March closing looks great.  It's up from the past two months.  I should have the post up by tomorrow, so please look for that.
