Realtor Designations that they SHOULD create!

Real Estate Agent with Residential, Investment properties, rehab projects, property management, luxury homes, new construction!

I recently watched a video where an agent was all uppity about their "designations" .  This means they went to a class and because of that have the right to certain letters that designate some training they have.  It's a GOOD thing to have designations but most of the public have no idea what they mean or how they got those letters, or Alphabet Soup as we like to call them.

So I've thought about some of the designations I've seen and some that I'd like to design a follow up class to.

Designation : CNE--The Certified Negotiation Expert--This designation is built on a 9 hour class to teach real estate agents the ins and outs of professionally negotiating.

Follow up Class: BSDE--This class is a 3 hour class and is designed to assist the real estate agent to "smell out" when they are being handed a line such as "Multiple Offers", "lots of activity on that listing",  "expecting and offer any minute from another agent that called".  Cover your eyes kiddos, this one is the BULL S*&T DETECTION EXPERT

Designation: ABR--Accredited Buyers Representative --This designation is built primarily on the ability to market yourself to home buyers and to promote your busines.

Follow up Class: SLTS--in order to make a little dough on the side, this class was designed to put some of that mad driving skill that a buyer agent must possess.  STATE LICENSED TAXI SERVICE

Designation: SRES--Senior Real Estate Specialist--In order to be better equipped to serve the growing population of those that are 50+, this designation helps the agent to better assist the Senior community.

Follow up Class: PWWP--The pwipper snapper that earns this designation must show proficiency, efficiency and speed at professionally storing the gear to help our Seniors.  PROFESSIONAL WHEELCHAIR and WALKER PACKER

There are MANY more designations to be had...virtually every letter in the alphabet can follow the real estate agent's name if they apply themselves to earning these advanced degrees but please, don't forget to also apply for the follow up clases and designations to make your collection complete (You can make payment directly to me and your certificate will be emailed to you upon completion of our 10 minute, umm, I mean, 10 Hour phone consultation!

How about CTG for "Certified Tour Guide" which is what I feel like sometimes. LOL, this is really a great list.
