5 counties, 4 donuts, 2 diet cokes, 6 houses and 2 potty breaks later.......

Real Estate Agent with Murney Associates

Today was one of those days. I had clients in from out of town. Cash buyers. Nice young family who is looking for the right house and not the right community. Lots of good with that, but the bad is it opens up a large area where possible homes might be found.

We had several homes to see, all in the country and none near another one, so we started early and 5 counties, 4 donuts, 2 diet cokes, 6 houses and 2 potty breaks later we still didn't write an offer.

But this family is bound and determined to find their little piece of heaven in Southwest Missouri and I'm bound and determined to help them.

So while today was a bust, I know I'll just have to put on my super real estate agent extraordinaire uniform, roll up my sleeves and scour the mls until I find the right home.

Let's admit it. Sometimes the chase is almost as good as the paycheck at the end...well maybe not but it's still fun.

Good luck. Sounds like they are serious, so that's good.

I help brokers build businesses they love.

"Not the right community"? These folks need to understand that where they raise their kids is more important than granite countertops or a two-story foyer. Stick with them, try to talk some sense into them!

I like working with first time home buyers, they are so excited about their potential home, it makes the search worthwhile.

Oh my gosh, Billi! I'm in southeast Missouri, and I know a bit about southWEST Missouri. All five of those counties you were in are probably lovely Ozark hills and mountains!
