Steamboat Ski Area beats 400 inches this week!

"With nearly 33.5 feet of snow to date and two weeks remaining in the season, Steamboat recorded another snow milestone today, passing the 400-inch mark for the 3rd time in the past four years says Steamboat Ski Resort."

“Steamboat is definitely showing why it is the home of Champagne Powder snow with, an incredible stretch of consistent and abundant snow conditions over the past four years,” said Chris Diamond, president & chief operating officer for Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation. “No other major Colorado destination resort even comes close to matching the experience that powderhounds have enjoyed here in Ski Town, U.S.A. this season.”

I just cannot imagine that much snow! What a wonderful thing it is to have a sport that makes snow profitable.
