Wednesday Orchids For You!

Everybody seems to be having orchid shows and sales this month. These photographs were taken at the Maryland Orchid Society Show and Sale at the Maryland Home and Garden show at the Timonium Fairgrounds. You do not need to be an orchid grower or expert to enjoy the shows and capture the unusual shapes and colors. 

Dolores and I have been out of town for a week and I am behind on my comments on ActiveRain. We enjoyed visits to Pinehurst, NC, Aiken, SC and Wilmington, NC.  Be sure to have your camera in hand to capture the colors of the changing season.

Such exotic colors and intricate form! Your first shot is gorgeous in buttery yellow with crimson. Your forth shot reminds me of space plants, they look so unusual.
