Ain't it the Truth!

Today's real estate headlines  can make buyers feel unsure of themselves. Has our market hit "bottom"? Will interest rates rise while the home values continue to  decline? What is the shadow inventory and how will effect inventory in your market? If you are feeling more like the Cowardly Lion, than a savvy buyer ,you are not alone. Bad news is sensational. Newspapers depend on sales to survive. If you are on the fence about buying a home and unsure if the timing is right, you need a Realtor. The advice of a local expert can save you money. They will represent your interest and provide you with the facts.

Here are 5 things to consider:

Do you need a place to live?

Do you want to live in a particular area or school district?

Do you have the data to demonstrate that the home you are considering is a good value?

Do you plan on living there for 3 to 5 years?

Is this purchase within your means or at the top of your budget? Does homeownership make sense with your lifestyle?

Courage! Make a good decision for you and your family.

These are not only good points, they are also a good mind shift to encourage our Clients.  It IS a good time to purchase a home.  Market values ARE lower than we could even have imagined.  Interest rates are as low as they were when Lyndon Johnson was President.  It is a GOOD TIME TO BUY.  If it works for the Client, it doesn't matter what others are doing.
