To do an Open House or Not to do an Open House?
That is the question.
Sometimes it seems like a wasted effort to go to the trouble of putting out signs,
scheduling in a whole work day or half at least and sitting at a house.
I have done many Open houses for the Public and it is hit or miss
and it hardly ever sells the house. But I can get to know the neighbors,
build relationships and maybe meet a new buyer or seller client.
But the Agent Open Houses, are well worth the effort for more than one reason.
SO I go the distance and prepare a menu, get a gift card or something
for a give away. If the sellers are motivated and the property is priced---well
that Open house can help sell that home!
If not I make my seller clients happy, I get to hear from other agents what might help sell
the home as well as what else is going on in the area. I build relationships with the agents
in the community and have FUN while I am doing it!
Thanks to all who came to my Open House yesterday at 113 Massick Lane.
I enjoyed the party! I just know that home will sell soon!
