Orchids for Dawn Crawley

Dolores and I have been exploring our options for a retirement home. One of the locations that we wanted to consider is Pinehurst, North Carolina.  For some time, I have enjoyed the Pinehurst blogs by Dawn Crawley on ActiveRain.  So, when it came to the selection of a real estate professional, Dawn is the person we contacted.

We met with Dawn last Wednesday and Thursday and received a wonderful introduction to the Pinehurst and Southern Pines areas and were able to see a number of homes in gated communities. Dawn is a model for the famous North Carolina hospitality enjoyed by all of the visitors to the area. Our only regret was that we did not schedule a longer stay in the community. We will have to make a return trip. Spring has arrived in full force in Pinehurst and it is a beautiful place to visit!

Hi Roy, What a nice way to feature the person that is showing you the way to your future home. Very nice Orchids as well. I haven't seen that type in person.

I haven't had much interaction with Dawn here on AR....  but I see her all over the Rain.  See looks like a wonderful person and I hope you and Dolores will have a great experience working with her.  Sounds like Pinecrest is just perfect for you and Dolores... especially since it has a great place to golf there!  All the best to you Roy...  you are certainly a joy to know!

Thanks, Patricia. It is comforting to have an outstanding buyer agent when exploring a new market area. Dolores and I have not yet selected a location for a retirement residence. We are spoiled by the convenience an quality of life in Kentlands, where we now live in Montgomery County, MD.
