Orwigsburg Food Pantry Needs Donations

Orwigsburg Food Pantry is sponsored by the churches of the Orwigsburg Area.


The food pantry is in need of supplies from our community to help those in need at this special time of year. The items they are most in need of are:


Peanut Butter & Jelly, Rice and Stuffing, Egg Noodles, Cereal, canned pineapple, toilet paper, tissues, laundry detergent, Sauerkraut, Carrots, beets, potatoes, and Yams.





If you can assist them with a donation of food, monetary or your time please contact them at

A great post for a great need. Food pantry's are really needing to bring it, as the need of the public has skyrocketed

So many food pantries struggle to keep the shelves full so it's important that consumers help out where they can...a couple of extra dollars spent at the grocery store is do-able by most folks.  Good post Erica.

This is a major topic here as well.  There are many who are out of work and I believe our food drives are struggling more than ever before--at least in my lifetime.  Kudos to you for getting the word out.  I need to do the same.
