It has been a good start to 2011 for Northeast Bank and our customers. I was able to help another family close on a new home today by taking advantage of the FHA loan program. The buyer in today's closing agreed to a price with the seller and was able to get the subject property under contract on March 8, 2011. We closed today, 23 days later, on March 31st. In fact we could have closed sooner, but we needed to wait an extra day for the buyer to close on the sale of their previous residence. Both transactions were finalized on the same business day.
