POSITIONING YOURSELF AS THE BEST BUYER YOU CAN BE!

Superwoman

Buyer's, are you aware that there are some very important steps that you can take to be the VERY BEST BUYER THAT YOU CAN BE?

With a little fore-thought, planning and preparing, you can position yourself to be the very strong buyer when you find that perfect house or property.

  1. Discuss with a Lender about your needs, your budget, payments, down payments, etc.
  2. HAVE A PRE-QUALIFICATION LETTER READY TO SUBMIT WITH AN OFFER.
  3. KNOW what you are looking for.  Do your homework and be very clear on your must-haves and then your list of what you would like but could compromise on.
  4. Don't start seriously looking until you are READY TO BUY.
  5. Be prepared to write the offer when you find that perfect home.  Many who wait lose out on the home that really fit their needs.

A strong buyer has a lot more negotiation power.  Positioning yourself to be the best buyer has a ton of advantages.

Getting pre approved is a must these days, I will not them homes until I know and they know that can afford the home and get a loan to purchase. Great advice Paula

This a great list I will print out and share with my buyers this weekend. Have a great weekend Paula and be happy you are not seeing the snow fall outside your window as I am.  This is not an April Fools joke sadly.

Hi Paula,

Thanks for your wonderful post for home buyers. Being sure that they are ready is very important and getting that pre-approval up front.
