HAV'N Homeless Animals Volunteer Network Fort Towson Oklahoma Choctaw County Southeast Oklahoma Citizens paying it forward to our four legged friends.
There is a great network of volunteers working to help homeless animals at HAV'N in Fort Towson, Oklahoma 74735. This small group (HAV'N) has made, and continues to make, a huge difference in the welfare of animals in the area, and in the number of homeless animals that wander the streets.
HAV'N (Homeless Aniamls Volunteer Network) is located at 1044 West Lake Road, Fort Towson, Oklahoma. Their sterilization clinics are usually on the third Saturday of the month for spaying and neutering dogs and cats. At this time, for $35, you can have your animal sterilized. Now that is a tremendous savings and a wonderful bargain. A great thing in more ways than one.
Some of the people involved in helping animals through the volunteer network of HAV'N:
Dr. Kay Helms - a
dedicated veterinarian that goes to the animal volunteer organizations in the area. She is also the vet that attends at ARK's clinic in Broken Bow.
Lily - tech, Yvonne Cook, Tom Maegar and Peggy Maegar (Clients of mine :) ) and David Burdelaise.
Don and I recently were present at a HAV'N clinic and snapped some photos. We even had the grandchildren with us that day. Of course, I'm usually behind the camera... :)
