Death Valley California - Thousands of "WILD FLOWERS" everywhere by Robert (Vegas Bob) Swetz

My brother mentioned that he had viewed News channel several days ago about the "WILD FLOWERS" in Death Valley National Park, and how it's been almost 30 years since Death Valley has had such a huge turn out with some Wild Flowers.

So Robert (Vegas Bob) Swetz jumping in his car March 30th and drove out to Death Valley, with the short cut he knows it only took VB one & half hours to get there from Vegas.

At first VB was looking around and thought that the News channels and other sources were pulling his leg, but after driving further in VB noticed Thousands of "Wild Flowers" everywhere.

Here is a very short video of the "Wild Flowers" and the video shows very few flowers compared all of them growing out there. Temperature in Death Valley when this video was taken was around 102 degrees and as it get hotter these flowers will burn off.

Hello Kristine and I know what your talking about, my brother mentioned in Minnesota all the snow they received up there and how they are getting more next week. Vegas temperature yesterday was 92 degrees and I had to turn on the AC in my car, unbelievable.

"Hang in there Kid it will be gone Soon"!

Hello Keith and I have to agree with you, with temperatures reaching over 125 degrees in the Summer it's hard to believe anything could grow in Death Valley!

Beautiful video of wildflowers, especially the way they are blowing around in the wind. And, they are my personal favorite - that's the reason my home is surrounded by cottage gardens which are variations of wildflowers, but a little more hearty. Love the natural look. 102 degrees - not so much! Okay, so I have to show you at least one picture of my garden so  you see what I'm bragging talking about - LOL!

Hello Kathy and yes some do take their year round flowers for granted. And as for 102 temps ... well I have been to Florida and I really don't like humidity! I would take 100 degree temp with no humidity than 80s & 90s with humidity ;o)

And Ellen it was quite fascinating and I have more video footage on YouTube if you want to see more!
