Good news! since we moved to our Bearspaw home in 1999, we get downtown quicker today than 12 years ago. This is due to the City of Calgary adding great transportation improvements along Crowchild Trail. In the old days we had traffic stops at Nose Hill Drive, Brentwood and Dalhousie. Today we go straight through.

Bearspaw has three major traffic flows to Crowchild Trail; 12 mile Collie Road, Bearspaw Road and Lockend Road. Bearspaw between Bearspaw Road and Lockend Road is considered the heart of Bearspaw with a desirable buffer between the edge of Calgary and a short commute to the Calgary city limits.
