Take Your YouTube Channel Full Hollywood!

By
Services for Real Estate Pros

Check out the video below.

I'm just having some fun, but I have a series of videos that I am going to be posting to the AZMORTGAGERATES YouTube Channel over the next couple of weeks, and I made this fancy intro.

Now before anyone gets nervous: it's not a copyright violation. I've already verified this with my attorney. It's considered a parody, no different than Saturday Night Live, except that I've got more talent than this season's entire cast! (insert rim shot here. bah-dum-dum.) Oh yeah.

But the best part is: I am going to show you how to make one of these, yourself, for free.

Do you want a snazzy 20th Century Fox intro for your YouTube channel or website?

Read my post on how to create it right here.

-- or --

Or I will make one for you for $20.

I am not trying to get rich here. In fact, I would rather you do it yourself...

The only reason I would charge my fellow ActiveRainers is because my computer will be tied up for about 10 hours rendering the video; this is inconvenient for me, even if I do it while I am sleeping. (because sometimes I answer emails at 3:00am) So I'll do it for you, or you can just do it yourself. Either way works!

If you want one, just post a comment here and I will shoot you an email. I need 3 or 4 days to get it done. If I get 20 requests, which I doubt, it will take longer.

Just send me three words.

Or, again, just follow my instructions here and do it yourself for free. Just a warning though: It only takes about ten minutes to create the design (type in your three lines of text), but then your computer needs 10 - 20 hours to work. You'll have to walk away from your computer for about 15 hours and let your machine render the video frame by frame. Your computer will be unusable while this is going on.

It'll work with any three words, but because the original logo says

20th

CENTURY

FOX

It's best to keep it close to that, if you want it to look like 20th Century Fox.

(By the way, if you are a mortgage broker or Realtor in Arizona, I can't do it for you. Sorry. But you can always read my tutorial if you want to do this yourself.)

That is pretty cool, Michael. What are the legal implications of using this?

No legal implication Maria. It's all on the up-and-up; I promise. I asked my attorney and he said it does not violate trademark or copyright laws because it is a parody.

Thanks Fred. Not sure what you mean about the Flash "rejections."

I think there would be lots of neat applications for this. Also, I am currently working on some other neat intros that would be better for more wordy pitches...

Michael, now that is pretty neat...  Will check out the "how to" you've included.  I've been meaning to look into the movie projects that iMovie offers too to create an opener.  Check out what Steve has so cleverly created for his intro ~ it's catchy and it's unique...thanks for sharing with us in  VBloggers!

Michael,

I think I may give it a try. Not sure my computer can handle it.

It is very CPU intensive Rich....because it is in 3-D and every angle needs to be rendered in all three dimensions. It's a pain. But it's fun.

Glad you are going to try.

Pamela-- thanks! I posted it in VBloggers because Lee & Carol Barbour suggested it. Glad they did.

Whoa!  I have to ask!  You only have 3 videos on YouTube and yet you have 335 subscribers!  Awesome man!  Awesome!  So... what's your secret!  Please do share!  I've been on since 2007 and have 100+ videos.  And yet, I am just about to hit 100 subscribers.  Do tell!  :)

Nyasa-- I can't tell you (publicly) about my awesome subscriber rate...because I have some very uncreative competition who does everything I do. But I'll give you a little hint: Think about trading likes and subscribers with other Realtors, for example. Does that put you in the right direction?

I always appreciate someone trying to help other fellow ARers.  I've learned so much here - I just don't know where to begin.  I make lists of things to do, then I lose those lists.  Then something else looks great, another list - blah, blah, blah.

Thank you

Too smart!  If I want one, you'll be the one to do it!  The whole "rendering in 3D, etc, etc, etc" renders me helpless, LOL.  I really like this thing!!!!  Wicked COOL!
