This year our kids are attending public school for the first time ever. They wanted to try it for the sports teams and because some of their lifelong friends are there. They are both ready to go back to their private school next year. The things I listed below are all things they have been told by their teachers. The list is actually much longer and funnier. Someday I will make a list.
They are learning that if you do not recycle a can, then you are a bad person.
They are learning that we stole CA and TX from the Mexicans.
They are learning that we are all going to die from global warming.
They are learning that it is OK for kids to cut school in order to protest a new law that might cut teachers tenure.
