OAK MOUNTAIN STATE PARK
Spring has arrived! The dogwoods are blooming and everywhere you see the brilliant green of new leaves and grass.....blue skies and pleasant temperatures are just calling you to get outside and enjoy!
Oak Mountain State Park, located in Pelham and less than 30 minutes south of downtown Birmingham, is Alabama's largest State Park covering almost 10,000 acres. Outdoor enthusiasts can finds lots to do here! Golf, fishing, boat rental, swimming, hiking, biking, horseback riding, picnic facilities, geocaching are some of the ways you can enjoy the beauty of the park. Cabins and camping facilities are available for those that would like to stay overnight.
Days passes are needed for entry to the park, and if you are a frequent visitor you may want to purchase an annual pass. In addition, some activities require additional fees which can be found by clicking on the link.
