Yesterday I had an opportunity to join my sister, Kerri, on The Centennial Trail for a walk along the Spokane River in Post Falls, Idaho.  We are "training" to compete in Bloomsday on May 1st.  We are each competing against ourselves as one more goal towards regaining our health and fitness.

The weather yesterday was not very springlike.  We started off in rain, then the clouds looked like they were parting, but then we were pounded with hail!  But rain, snow, sleet or hail, we continued on to get our miles in!  Here are some photos Kerri snapped along our way.  Inspite of the volatile weather, it was a beautiful day for a walk in northern Idaho!

What an adventure.  Sorry the weather wasn't pretty, but the photos are just beautiful.

This really could be parts of central and northern Wisconsin.....then again, there are no potato fields that I know of anywhere here.

I would immediately have quit as soon as the hail started. Of course, since it was raining to begin with, I would have just stayed in bed! J♪♫♫♪

Janna,

Beautiful shots of the river and the bridge.  Thank you so much for sharing them with us.  I really enjoy the geographical tours on Active Rain.  It is a joy!  Have a great Saturday.  A
