Anyone got $1.79? Buying a tiny bit of nature’s beauty is always a great deal.

This pretty Red Admiral butterfly was happily sipping on some flowers at Home Depot yesterday, and flitting back and forth in the way of all butterflies. I whispered in his ear that I needed to take his picture for my ActiveRain friends.

And, this is what he gave me.

It’s always a great day, when you can enjoy a something beautiful.

I especially love butterflies and really liked the picture you took. What an awesome butterfly, I don't remember them getting that big here, will have to keep my camera handy and see if I can catch one to measure up to yours.

John - thanks; we headed to Epcot at Disney World to see the Flower and Garden show. Got lots of pictures.

William - I actually didn't have my camera but I had my blackberry Tour with me. Almost as good. Thanks.

Alexandra - I agree with you; those tiny flying jewels are worth so much more. We had a great time and took lots of flower photos.
