The wind is picking up outside and threats of a tornado are eminent in near by counties. But here in the quiet and still room of my home office, it happened quite suddenly and sneakily....
I hit 100,000 points!
I really thought I was doing good when I hit the 50K mark only 75 days in but now here I am over 100,000 points and a little over 4 months in. I have had a blast! Learned new things, met great people, got my toes stepped on and picked myself up to learn that I am good just as I am. I don't need to partner with anyone to be good at what I do. I love my job, my clients and the platform that is ActiveRain.
I really hope to delve into the scene of ambassador as that is what I really love. Helping others on their journey with what I do. I have already spoken to a lot of newbies about the nuances and technicalities of ActiveRain and I love doing it.
Although I am no longer a real estate agent, I have taken those traits, experience and knowledge and put it to good use for my clients on hundreds of websites. I am not THE SEO expert but I learn, grow and develop techniques from ever-changing online algorithms. Staying on top of what you do takes time and discernment to know what to filter out and what to put into practice. It's a full time job just staying on top of the latest Google changes and knowing what actual people want to see when they come to a website.
This all takes balance to make a site look good as well as be properly optimized. I am in constant growth on all things SEO and glean from the experts such as Matt Cutts himself (Google's SEO guy). So, yup... I'm tooting my own horn this morning. But can't we all do that once in a while? I love ActiveRain and just regret not jumping on the band wagon 5 years ago when I heard rumors of this real estate blogging platform. Silly Tammy! But to date I have not deleted one comment regardless of their nature and I will continue to be honest and open with my readers.
