Oh My Aching...

Daffodils in Southern OregonOh My Aching... fill in the blank.  For me, it's my aching neck.  Yesterday was a lovely sunshine-filled day and I couldn't let it slip away without pulling some weeds in my yard.  It felt good to get a little exercise while taking in some rays under gorgeous blue skies.

Winter seems to be lingering in Southern Oregon, even though Spring officially claimed it's name on March 20.  The only true sign of Spring are the gorgeous daffodils that surround my real estate office.  The rest of the real estate market is still waking up from a long winter's nap.

For some folks, it's their pocket books that are aching.  Once again, another real estate franchise in Southern Oregon is experiencing some aching pains.  Perhaps they slept too long during the economy's downturn and unfortunately delayed the inevitable decision to downsize.  Many of us made the necessary corrections five years ago when we saw the storm coming.

For others, the aching wells deep within.  A failing marriage, a forced retirement, the loss of a loved one... all of which are painful to the core.  Whatever your struggle is today, may you find peace and strength within to carry on.  Don't worry about tomorrow, for today has enough cares of it's own.  Be blessed and be well today... it's a decision that only you can make!

Very nice post and I believe you are correct regarding the aching wells deep within for many many people.

Melinda- Good words to begin the week.  And, you are so right... it may be an aching back but the "aching wells deep within" are the hardest sometimes to care for.  Hopefully we can all enjoy today and hope for better tomorrows.
