Shore Regional High School (SRHS) is among just 388 public school districts honored nationwide by being named to the Advanced Placement (AP) Achievement List by the College Board for significant gains in advanced placement access and student performance.
SRHS is honored for opening AP classroom doors to a significantly broader pool of students, while maintaining or improving the percentage of students earning scores of 3 or higher.
From 2008 to 2010, SRHS saw marked increases in the number of students participating in Advanced Placement and an improved percentage of students earning AP Exam scores of 3 or higher, the score typically needed to earn college credit. Based on these accomplishments, SRHS has been added to the Advanced Placement® Program's "AP® Achievement District Honor Roll" for 2011.
Shore Regional High School draws students from West Long Branch, Monmouth Beach and Oceanport, New Jersey. More information about Advance Placement courses can be found at: http://www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/ap/about.html
