Exceeding expectations.
I have the good fortune to reside and have my place of business, Turning Point Estate Services LLC. in Wilton, CT. On a recent afternoon while reading the local Wilton paper I came upon a article about Dagny Eason, a local realtor, going independent with the launch of Dagny's Real Estate. I sent a quick email and was pleased when she suggested we meet over coffee/tea. I had been looking for ways to leverage the momentum from our own recent article about Turning Point in the local Connecticut newspapers, so I jumped at the networking opportunity.
At our meeting I learned about Dagny's use of ActiveRain, and was soon convinced this kind of social media information exchange would be indispensable in growing my business. I was eager to get on board the AR bandwagon, and Dagny said she could get me started. I had expected a web address and a "good luck", but instead. the following evening, Dagny gave up hours of her own personal time, even her dinner, to help me set up my AR account and familiarize me with the system.
Successful people exceed your expectations. With just a quick look through Dagny's web site and thoughtful AR blog posts, you can see this is a common thread throughout all of her endeavors. I am fortunate to have found her as is the entire ActiveRain community and the communities of Lower Fairfield County CT.
Thank you Dagny.
Exceeding expectations.
I completely agree and for you to appreciate how she went out of your way to help is also admirable. Too often then not when someone exceeds your expectations you kindly thank them and move on without really expressing your true graditude and telling everyone you know what a great job they did. It is funny though because when you mess up or do not provide the best service people are very quick to tell everyone they know how horrible the experience was. It is esay for people to spread the negative but not all the positive the world offers. Just look at the news for example. Hardly ever is there story after story of the good things happening throughout the world yet every disaster, crime etc are on every station. I guess the point I am making is thank you for spreading the good someone has done for you. WELL DONE!!!
