Who Invited You To Be In My Picture?

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Executives
As I looked out the sliding glass door from my in-home office work station I noticed what I believed to be four goldfinches on one of our nyger seed feeders - three males and one female.

I thought a "foursome" photo could be used later this year in a post about a West Springfield Rotary golf tournament. However, while editing it I noticed there was an interloper peering around the upper corner of the feeder. Of course, I could edit her out, but that wouldn't be very nice. As you can see, she ventured out on a very rainy day. So, I decided leaving her in the photo would be a good "Service Above Self" opportunity.

I suppose I could use it as "Are Fivesomes Allowed?"

Hi Karen, I love these rather spontaneous captures and it sounds like you are building some great reference materials for future use. Well done!

Very creative thinking Karen.  I probably wouldn't have noticed #5, if you hadn't mentioned it.

Karen, I had to look really hard, but it looks like a great bird dog.  Those finches are beautiful - are they there year round?

Wow Karen, did you take the photo behind your office slider?

This is a fabulous photo capture I love those beautiful gold finches, now I'll have go get one of those nyger seed feeders too. I have a male & female cardinal that stop by a few times to snack, the sight of those two dining together never fail to brighten my day :~)

LOL Karen, I imagine they would take off. There is a magazine I really enjoy named 'Bird & Blooms' and your photo should be in it. I'd submit a copy of this one if I were you!
