Ladera Ranch Skatepark

Ladera Ranch is a community that has many amenities to offer its residents.  One of the highlights is the Ladera Ranch Skatepark located in the village of Terramor.  The park offers open grass areas, skate board bowls, rails and other obstacles.  The Skatepark is for skateboarding, in-line skates, non-motorized scooters and BMX riding only. All other uses are prohibited.  All park users must wear commercially manufactured safety gear, which includes helmet, elbow and kneepads with plastic caps.

There is no charge for Ladera Ranch residents to use the park.  Users must pay a $5 registration and card fee that is good for 12 months.

Residents that want to use the park must have a liability waiver on file. For park users under 18 years of age, parent/guardian must sign release forms in person.  Guests of residents must also file a liability waiver with LARMAC and will be issued a monthly park card. If a liabiliity waiver is not filed for a guest access will be denied.  All park users must practice safety at all times and avoid collisions with others.

The Park is open daily fom 9:00am-9:00pm.  It is located at 26283 Sienna Parkway at the corner of O'Neil and Sienna.

Interested residents should visit LaderaLife for registration information and forms.

Shar-Or maybe just throw on a lot of extra pads!  It's a fantastic way for the kids to get out their energy

It looks like a nice place for kids. It's great that the community cares about having something for the kids to do. It's a big plus that they have rules to abide by.

Lynda-We're very lucky, our HOA dues pay for private security that patrol the city & the park...especially the skatepark

Ladera has more worthwhile amenities than just about any other South OC community.

I really like that bikes are allowed. There are plenty of people that ride BMX, but can't ride a skateboard well. I am 28, a father of 1, & I ride mountain bikes & BMX at skateparks. Skateparks aren't just for the kids. With that said, why did they have to go to the trouble of building a nice skatepark, then be exclusionary about it and disallow anyone that doesn't live there? If you have private security, & liability waivers, let other people in. The "Only residents & 1 guest at a time with paid admission" rule should be extended to others. I would fill out a liability waiver, & pay the admission. Many people I know would do the same. Most people that would take the time & care to complete a liability waiver & pay for admission would not be the type of person to destroy a skatepark. Your park does look beautiful, & I would love to visit it sometime, but that seems to be out of the question.
