Another; "Tips and Tricks for Selling Your Home"
Yep, it's one of those days here in Dane, Jefferson, & Waukesha County's, here in Wisconsin.
But that's not all bad!
This Saturday and Sunday will be in the 70's!
It will be the perfect time to spruce up that curb appeal! Our harsh winter weather has downed gutters, ripped shingles and lots of debris left behind by the melted snow. Here is just a few things you can do that cost little or no money to make your home the jewel on the block;
~ Repair and Replace gutters and down-spouts! Clean out all debris from clogged gutters making them flow freely! This gives perspective buyers the feeling that your home is well maintained inside as well.
~ Rake! Rake! Rake! This will get rid of the dead grass exposing a lush green carpet as well as cleaning up all the debris giving your curb appeal a crisp clean look! Buyers will automatically think the interior is clean and well kept also.
~ Make sure the front door and all fixtures are freshly painted, in good repair, and not too cluttered. Be sure the hardware, the light fixture and the mailbox all have the same finish on them. And by all means, it is time to put out a fresh clean welcome mat. Winters weather and all the salt that gets drug in reeks havoc on our mats. This will ensure a warm welcoming to potential buyers and instil a desire to come in and tour your home.
