End of the season?

It is the first week of October, and it is another beautiful day here in Myrtle Beach.  Temperatures have been holding in the low- to mid-80's range over the past week, but they say we may get some rain today... and boy, do we need it!

A handful of restaurants have closed for the season, and the boats aren't travelling the Intracoastal Waterway nearly as much as usual.  Even with these warm temperatures, it's surprising to me that restauranteurs and navigators are throwing in the towel so quickly.  It's still gorgeous around here!

Let me propose this... instead of travelling north to see the colors change, why don't you come south?  Experience the lingering days of summer we are still experiencing on the Grand Strand.  Hop in the car, or fly directly into the Myrtle Beach International Airport...

You won't be disappointed!
