Texting and Driving,

There has been a great deal of response to this video. It seems as though everyone has known someone affected by Texting and Driving or as some call it "driving distracted," and others have been affected directly. The video "Pictures of A Broken Life" was featured here in northern Idaho and eastern Washington on KHQ6 our local news station.

Gabrielle explained what went into the video. She said, "I got to thinking about being the one resposible for killing someone else through distracted driving, and I wanted to impart that in my production." The story is that of a guy that realized that he killed the love of his life and flashes back to him holding her hand as she passes away! Truly a powerful presentataion that has impacted me deeply.

Scott: Thanks for the Video that serves to remind all of us, NO phone call or texting is worth this kind of result. The fact is, we can all be distracted if not paying attention to our driving.

Oh Scott, very powerful indeed.  As my HS senior prepares to leave for college 200 miles away, I talk with her often about distracted driving.  What if that were my child in the video?  I can promise you I'll speak with her again about this today and over and over again.  Thank you (and a great reminder lesson for Mom to).   Caroline

Scott, tks for the video.  Anything that takes away our attention to be extremely obsrvant while driving is a no no..Remember who a lot of us were smoking while driving and either dropped a ciagarette or ashes while driving?  I certainly had a few close calls....tks again.
