Encinitas Street Fair is This Weekend April 9 and 10, 2011 in Downtown Encinitas
Fair season is here again in Southern California and a string of outdoor fairs in our coastal communities is beginning. While there are similar events year-round, spring and summer tends to bring out the best, and most, of them.
The Encinitas Street Fair will be held in downtown Encinitas this weekend, April 9 and 10, 2011.
As in the past, they are expecting over 400 vendors for this weekend's Encinitas Street Fair and the crowds should be substantial. You can plan on a wide array of things to buy - arts and crafts, clothing, art work, jewelry and so much more, along with music and of course plenty of food. A shopper's paradise!
The Encinitas Street Fair is held along the Coast Road/Route 101 in downtown Encinitas between D and J Streets. There is plenty of room to walk around, and of course an abundance of shopping and dining with local stores and eateries in addition to the many vendors.
Kids can have fun too, with rides and entertainment.
Plan ahead since parking may be a challenge. You can also take the Coaster since the train station is less than a block from the heart of the Encinitas Street Fair. Admission is free, so you have lots of extra money to shop.
