Healthier eco-friendly Grass roofs?

Jeffrey- Thank you for looking, I should have dug out my personal pics from my family houses. Sorry. But it isn't about my family's houses, now is it? The application in cities as well as towns is very interesting. Chicago, Philly etc are doing it already.

Ted- some people cut it, depends on the variety you sow. And the wilflowers you throw up there. If it a corporate flat roof, think park- like scene for people to enjoy. I am a fan of flowers also. There are people who do veggies in those settings, start with lettuce etc.

If you are rural, our houses are - then let it be wild . My dad did take a handheld scykle to it on occassion. Not mandatory. Do a shed roof first?

Debbie and Maureen - yes, I am Norwegian, did you guess? They are probably popular in Africa, denmark, holland, germany, but like you said, not a movement. Too expensive really to set up. But a fun item. I know from many years experience how well they hold up, and repairs are not outlandish either.
