Atlantic City was certainly a fun venue for Rain Camp.  There was the beach, the Boardwalk, the casinos, but most of us paid little attention to the distractions around us.

The only thing I missed was walking along the beach and saying hello to the Atlantic Ocean.  It was just way too windy and cold.  I took this indoors, looking out over a walkway connecting the hotel and casino to food.

If it had been summer, with warm weather and higher water temperatures, would we have been tempted to play hooky?  And miss Katerina Gasset's session, or the one that Kerrie Greenhalgh led with agents with great ideas?  Probably not.

And even with the cold and wind, it was beautiful to have a chance to look out on the waves before dinner.

That is really one of my biggest regrets. When I was in Florida in late 2009 I was 6 miles from the  Atlantic and I didn't get to feel the sand under my feet or touch the Atlantic for the first time. All I could do is look at it from the plane during take off and landing.

Patricia,

I looked at the photo and immediately felt that it was chilly. I am always fascinated by our ability to feel the temperature. I do a lot of shots of thhe ocean and I experimented with friends asking them when they were taken, and usually people have no problem telling winter shots from summer shots, evenn thhough there are no obvious signs like snow or people dressed up

Insightful comment from Jon...prob. has to do w/ height of sun/amt of light.

I too looked from window.  But, you're right, I'd rather spend the time learning and hanging out w/ each other.
