We had Two REALTORS going around getting people to sign their homes over to an investment company that they owned. They would tell customers, "If they signed their homes over they would get with the lender and STOP the foreclosure." They could sell the home and help the Homeowner. Turns out they would sell the home and Not give the homeowner anything. And in some case, if the home was empty, they would forge the homeowners name on a quick claim deed, and sell the property. The FBI Raided their office. It was on the locale news, giving us REALTOR another black eye. The sad part is, until this goes to court, they still have their Real Estate license.
