DC Neighborhood Projects: Flats at Atlas District

I was recently visiting the H Street NE/Atlas District neighborhood, and I noticed a lot of new construction activity. Aside from the usual development of the light rail and adjacent buildings, there was a towering project at the corner of Bladensburg Road and Neal Street, called the Flats at Atlas District.

According to the developer, Clark Realty Capital, this project will consist of 257-Unit Luxury Apartments with 5,000 SF of Ground Floor Retail.



"The Flats represents an important investment in the local community, bringing high-quality housing to an area that has not benefited from new residential development in many years. The Flats will feature studio-style apartments as well as a variety of one and two-bedroom floor plans, and will incorporate modern architectural styles that remain consistent with the surrounding areas. In addition to local restaurants and entertainment, residents of this luxury community will have access to a wide range of amenities including a pool, fitness center, courtyards, indoor basketball court, and ground-level retail."
