When I got "felled" this week, the phrase "sicker than a dog" came to mind. In turns out that I wasn't.

I only had a sore throat, inner ear problems and deep-seated congestion with a 102 degree temp until plop, plop, fizz, fizz took those symptoms and the temperature back to normal.
I hate medicine. I hate taking an aspirin if I feel I can overcome it with my acupressure hot spots. But, sometimes, when the "bug" gets down and dirty, we have to fight fire with fire.
It is impossible for me to nap. But, after I got everything I HAD to do done yesterday morning, I went back to bed. I didn't eat, barely drank water, and even with the kitties laying all over my feet for most of the day, I slept for nearly 24 hours.
Today, I got out of bed around one....started returning phone calls.....it turns out that the world didn't stop in my absence, nor did anything of impelling compulsion happen except for a request for a BPO by an agent on my short sale. Got that taken care of, and I think I might be as normal as my unusual psyche will allow.
Whatever it was, I hope it doesn't return soon. And, I hope everyone I know is safe from it. It's no fun to sit or lie and say, "Ow!" for no apparent reason.
Don't touch ANYTHING! And stay safe out there.
