On April 16, 2011, There is a great 365 thing to do in Worcester County - See Beatles Cover Band Fundraiser in Leominster. As I was listening to the mornig radio show, (It was Beatles' hour) the announcer mentioned a fundraiser in Leominster. As I love Beatles, and who doesn't, I researched more information on this event:
The Doyle Field Foundation will be hosting a fundraiser on April 16 at the Sheraton Four Points, located at 99 Erdman Way in Leominster. The event kicks off at 7:00 p.m. with DJ Kesta spinning records and leading up to the main event: The No Reply Band. They will take the stage at 8:00 p.m. and play for a great cause.
The No Reply Band is a celebration of Beatles music, but don’t look for the signature outfits and hairstyles. This Beatles cover band doesn’t look to imitate, they just celebrate everything Beatles. The No Reply Band performs all the classic Beatles hits, switching up eras and expectations to keep you on your toe-tapping feet.
The Doyle Field Foundation is fund raising for the construction of new locker rooms . Doyle Field has been a recreational icon in the city of Leominster for over 75 years. Recently, a restoration project was undertaken to improve the facility and continue to maintain the field for future generations. All proceeds of the event will go toward Doyle Field and the locker room construction.
Tickets for the event are $10 and will be available at the door or by contacting the Enterprise Bank Branch Managers Donna Manuel at the Fitchburg branch at 978-353-6777 or John Flores at the Leominster Branch at 978-534-7406.
