GARY COLES STARTED The Facebook Fridays group is designed to promote sharing with Facebook in mind. We encourage members to visit 5 Facebook pages of Rainmakers and give them a big thumbs up each Friday. We want this group to be a positive influence to increase our networks with each other on Facebook, support all of our Facebook pages, to learn more about Facebook for business and to get answers to the questions we have about Facebook. There will be few rules. Both posts and comments should be positive. This is not a forum for debate. Content which does not relate to Facebook will be removed. Although posts will be encouraged on Fridays, members are welcome to post anytime.

Lauren: What a great idea. Facebook Fridays. That can be the day that I go on to my Facebook page and delete all the crazy requests of people who I have totally NEVER heard of... wanting to "be my friend." That whole idea just does not "do it" for me. But... I wish you the best with it. Go for it.

By the way... you put up a new picture ! It looks great. And here I thought the last one was super. Heck... ANY picture of you would be great. Perhaps I could borrow one of your pictures you are not using, and use it on MY profile page ? Just a thought.

I couldn't find my disc with my photo shoot and I wanted to just put a picture on (points) not to mention, not fun blogging someone with no photo. (like- who is that person>?) And you can't just upload any ole' photo and as my office is getting refurbished, "voila"- without looking for it, found my disc.

We are building a Facebook page where we will like real estate pages across North America so local residents can check out real estate in their favourite locations. This is the page we will be liking from My Uxbridge Homes

Meanwhile the page we are hoping to get liked is Kathy's own Page is up and running and we could use a little help in getting our first 25 likes so that we can get user name for it.

We have liked our first group from this post and will check out some of the older ones as well

I could not have agreed more. When I attended RAINCAMP I signed up for two things, one was MARKET LEADER (which turned out to be a disaster, they are a bunch of shysters...we will probably end up in court), and the second was IMSD....IMSD is the best kept secret about RAINCAMP. One year to work on all the information that was overloaded in a one-day event. It was there that I learned about the interesting FB Fan Pages. We'll need to chat sometimes

Sounds great Lloyd... I think that anything Technology that RAINERS~ SAY WORK, go for it! In this case some people still feel stand offish' to send a msg... It's easier and quicker than blogging! Why wouldn't they?? Linking only takes a minute... Some people are old school, but eventually those in the business won't keep up. Thanks for the comments... New AR friend ;)

Well, I do know my good side... that's for sure & of course I will not show the bad shots, NEVER! <HEE HEE> Well, I had you listed on my FIRST Facebook Friday & I encourage others to go back to the group and LIKE Friends pages too ;) Also, depending on time and if you really want to keep your personal FB page and then make a Business Page and then let us ALL know because you need 25 LIKES to get your own FB name page... and that then allows you to list that Business Page as an Employer or to be viewed by others in the SEARCH engine~ Just a thought... I know you went to Rain Camp, but maybe TX RainCamp for me... Let me know if you are going...

Exactly Doug~ and you can also get tips on the advice and tips on various groups as well and your local associations give them as well. We had a huge luncheon with WCR~ (many men join too) and/or go to certain events with Social Media training...
