Yesterday I got to meet Active Rain member John Cannata.
Sometimes its opportunities like this that allow you to meet a fellow activerain member.
As you will read below, Richard Weeks was kind enough to invite me to speak during a portion of his Finance Class in Plano over the weekend. I had a really great time and especially enjoyed talking with Richard after the class.
Richard has been teaching for several years with Champions School of Real Estate and use to own a large ranch with 23 horses. Richard is native Texan and has a strong Real Estate presence in the Dallas Area.
When is the last time you met a Fellow ActiveRain member? Outside of Raincamp, its been quite some time for me.
What a great day yesterday was.
I had the opportunity to teach day one of Real Estate Finance 101 at Champions School of Real Estate Plano Campus. Thirteen great learners all participating and paying attention.
But that is one half of what made it such a good day. Secondly I had the opportunity to meet a fellow Active Rain member John Cannata. What a great guy John is.
On Thursday I was asked if I could fill in and teach this class. This class primarily deals with loans and who better to have as a guest speaker then a loan officer. I called John on Friday and asked if he could give up a portion of his weekend to speak to this class. Without hesitation John said he would.
John is a very knowledgeable loan officer and did a fantastic speaking and answering question. Today several of the students told me how much they enjoyed John's visit.
I have not used John on any previous loans; however that will now change.
If you are in the DFW area, do yourself a favor and get you buyers to John. You will not be disappointed.
