One thing I loved about this home is that it was close to the elementary school and was only a five minute drive to take my son to basketball practice or other school activities during New Hampshire’s snowy winter nights.
I was pleasantly surprised when I stepped onto the back deck for the first time. I immediately found myself in the peaceful, private serenity of the New Hampshire woods. There are no houses close to the back portion of the property which is adjacent to an open space of gently sloping granite with a semi-circle of trees that borders the woods and has walking trails and a variety of wildlife. When my son was younger, we’d gather a couple of his friends and have a picnic in one of the clearings.
At night, there is nothing better than sitting in the hot tub, looking at the stars, surrounded by the stillness of pine and oak trees. As the years have passed by, we have enjoyed the best of both worlds; being close to shopping and schools, and having our own private nature preserve. My son is now grown and 16 Forest awaits a new family to enjoy this lovely home and its tranquil setting.
