How to Have a Great Day
As a San Diego Realtor I work hard to communicate to people that my job is to help them, and yet I often receive either spoken or unspoken a response that is clearly suspicious. My best guess about human behavior is that people don’t trust or believe other people very easily. In my quest to solve this communication problem I have searched for the “magic words” that will trigger acceptance.
In other words, “what can I say to get you to respond to me?” I’ve learned that there are two key factors -
1. What you say - or the words you use.
2. How you say it - tone, inflection, body language, etc...
The right combination of the two generates a very positive response. If you want to have a great day, then all you have to do is change the way you’re looking at the day. The slightest shift in your approach or perspective can make a big difference. Is your glass half empty or is it half full?
