Human Trafficking in North Texas...yes North Texas!

My pastor's sermon this weekend was quite an eye opening sermon. He discussed a topic most people have heard of.....in other countries.....but in North Texas??!! Most had no idea Human Trafficking was going on as close to us as the nearest highway.

Please  go to the website and listen to the sermon here.

(Click on Radicle part 3. If it is not on the website please go back in a few days)

I was basically devastated to learn that Human Trafficking even exists and is become more widespread than drug trafficking!  Pastor said the reason is this:  you can only sell a drug one time...but a child you sell over and over. A human trafficker can make an average of $200,000.00 per year on each child he traffics out.  In-between trafficking , the child is  kept in cages.   Go to fullsize image

Make this a warning to all parents......when your child asks to go to the mall by themselves with friends  tell them NO! Keep a constant eye on your children and know that there are people looking for young kids in North Texas to traffic for sex. The thought of this revolts me , but I really wanted to post this for those of you who were unaware of this topic as I was.

Please check out  Northplace Church in Sachse Texas to see what they are  doing to help the victims of this horrible industry once they are rescued from this situation.

Thank  you Pastor Bryan Jarrett for having a heart for the lost all over the world and North Texas !!

This is a huge problem all over the place, not only children, but young women too.  This is something that needs extreme light on to get ended.

And you thought that slavery was over! Far from it, as human trafficking is a huge business all around the world. It's pitiful, especially since it is the most defenseless in society. Young women and children. Children also made to work for pennies a day. Yet, our government really never steps in, nor governments around the world. Many laws actually encourage this to go on rather than the opposite. Many corporations move operations overseas for the "cheap child labor". And in this country you never used to see all of the billboards along interstates for "sex shops" like you do today. They are glorified, allowed to exist, come into some pretty nice areas, or very rural areas where residents can't get up a good resistance, but even when they do, the judge over rides. Politicians are very much involved in this business, I'm convinced, either side of the aisle, if it will bring money to their pockets, casinos, sex shops, cheap labor they are involved.
